On the morning of May 21st, on the occasion of the fifth International Tea Day, the 4-day 2024 China Huizhou Tea Spring Exhibition and International Tea Day Anhui Tea Competition came to a successful conclusion. This exhibition is hosted by the Anhui Tea Industry Association and the Anhui Green Food Association, with the theme of "Anhui Meihui Tea Welcoming the World". It aims to build a platform for supply and demand coordination, cooperation and exchange, and promote the sales and brand promotion of Huizhou tea. Nearly 100 tea companies participated in this exhibition, with approximately 20000 visitors.

At the closing ceremony, Wang Chuanyou, President of Anhui Tea Industry Association, stated in his speech that Anhui Tea Industry Association will continue to play a bridging role and build a platform for the development of Huizhou tea industry. Lv Guowen, former second level inspector of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Anhui Province and Chairman of the Anhui Green Food Association, announced the list of winners for the 2024 International Tea Day Anhui Tea Fight. After several rounds of review and competition, Taiping Houkui from Mount Huangshan Kangxie Tea Co., Ltd. and Qimen Black Tea from Mount Huangshan Qimen Songtan Tea Industry Co., Ltd. stood out and were respectively rated as the "King of Green Tea" and "King of Black Tea". This exhibition is full of exciting activities, with tea varieties from all over the province gathered at the venue. The promotion activities of famous teas attracted a lot of attention. In the afternoon of May 18, at the special promotion meeting of Taiping Houkui Association held in Mount Huangshan District, Mount Huangshan City, the relevant person in charge of Mount Huangshan District Tea Industry Promotion Center introduced the production skills and characteristics of Taiping Houkui, and 14 tea enterprises and tea professional cooperatives in the whole district successively appeared on the stage for brand promotion and product display. On May 19, Lu'an Gua Pian Special Promotion Conference, Qimenhong Group Special Promotion Conference and Xie Yuda Mount Huangshan Maofeng Special Promotion Conference were held successively. On May 20th, the exhibition specially set up the China Emblem Tea Benefiting the People Day event, with over 30 exhibitors offering over 70 types of tea products at skyrocketing prices to benefit the people.

The exhibition also held a 2024 Anhui "Three Tea" coordinated development exchange meeting at the same time, where industry experts shared their views. Wan Xiaochun, professor of Anhui Agricultural University and director of the State Key Laboratory of Tea Biology and Resource Utilization, pointed out that it is necessary to fully understand the significance of the overall development of "tea culture, tea industry, tea science and technology", take industrial demand as the guide, moderately develop the scale of tea gardens, increase the per unit yield, accelerate the transformation of old tea gardens in mountain areas, and improve the per mu benefit.
